Many patients don’t like the ‘puff of air test’ or non-contact tonometry. The puff of air test measures the pressure in your eyes. It is important for us to know the pressure in your eyes as when the pressure goes up it could lead to glaucoma.

So now we have a new tonometer called the ICare which measures the pressure in a different way without using a puff of air. Most people can’t feel it at all.
