Keyuri has special interests in myopia management, macular diseases and contact lens fitting.

Keyuri has a Master’s degree in Clinical Optometry 

Keyuri graduated with first class honours degree at City University in 2016. Keyuri has since worked in primary and secondary care. She has held several hospital optometry roles in various settings, from managing anterior surface disease within a corneal clinic, fitting complex contact lenses to low vision assessments.

She has additionally obtained Professional Certificates in Paediatric Eye Care, Low Vision, Glaucoma and Medical Retina from Cardiff University. She recently gained a Master’s in Clinical Optometry with distinction.  

Keyuri is currently the lead optometrist at the Royal Free Hospital and practices in the Glaucoma and Paediatrics clinics.

Her special interests lie in myopia management, macular diseases and contact lens fitting.

The Eaglet Eye

The Eaglet Eye - EYE SURFACE PROFILER is a device that provides a topography map that goes way beyond the cornea - onto the sclera.   This provides us vital data that helps us to improve the fitting process of scleral lenses. The additional data gained from the scans enable us to produce more complex lens lenses for the irregular ocular surface.
