The first fashion eyewear brand in Japan started in 1972 under a concept of “Eyewear for dressing as a fashion accessory”. The collection was temporarily paused but restarted in 2018. It has evolved into a brand offering a wide range of eyewear to meet every objective and situation.
The collection, with contemporary interpretation on the base of the huge archives including past designs, models and manufacturing methods EYEVAN holds, is made up of products that are compatible with designs reflecting the times and productivity as an industrial product. Eyewear that does not have technical restrictions in the manufacturing process and combines traditional manufacturing methods and new technologies with free ideas that are not caught in the past. Original manufacturing method of EYEVAN 7285 called “hidden endpiece” . It is moulded into the back of metal sheet using 300 ton press machine. The soft acetate rim has an ideal rounded shape by hand polishing by craftsman in the final process.
